🎨 Processing Time

Every Jewel Arts piece is handcrafted to order β€” we don't use mass production. Here's what to expect:

  • 3D Printed Items: 3–7 business days (multi-day prints + hand-finishing, sanding, and quality check)
  • Painted Items (shoes, canvas): 5–10 business days (Julie hand-paints each piece β€” no prints or decals!)
  • Metal Art: 7–14 business days (welding, rock-filling, sealing, and polishing)
  • Custom Commissions: Timeline provided at consultation (typically 2–4 weeks)

🚚 Shipping Options & Costs

Domestic (USA):

  • Standard (USPS Ground): $8–15 Β· 3–7 business days
  • Expedited (USPS Priority): $15–25 Β· 1–3 business days
  • Express (UPS/FedEx): Calculated at checkout Β· 1–2 business days

International:

  • Available to select countries Β· Calculated at checkout based on weight/dimensions
  • Customs fees, duties, and taxes are the recipient's responsibility
  • Transit times vary by destination (typically 7–21 business days)
  • Tracking included on all international orders

πŸ“¦ All orders include tracking. You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number as soon as your package leaves our studio.

πŸ”„ Returns & Exchanges

Because our items are handmade and often customized, we keep our policy simple and fair:

  • 14-day return window from delivery date for standard items
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, with all tags attached
  • Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility (we recommend tracking)
  • Refunds issued to original payment method within 5 business days of receiving the return
❗ Final sale items (non-returnable): Custom commissions, personalized items, painted footwear, and sale/discounted items. These are only returnable if damaged or defective.

Exchanges: We happily exchange for size/color/style if inventory allows. Contact us within 7 days of delivery to check availability.

πŸ”§ Damaged or Defective Items

We inspect every piece before it ships, but if something goes wrong:

  1. Take clear photos of the damage and packaging within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Email us at contact@jewelartsslc.com with photos and your order number
  3. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund β€” no return shipping needed for defective items

We stand by our craft. If it's not perfect, we'll make it right β€” no questions asked.

🌍 Local Pickup (Salt Lake City)

Live in the SLC area? Save on shipping and meet us in person!

  • Pickup location: Central SLC (exact address provided after order confirmation)
  • Available: Tuesday–Saturday, 12–5 PM MT (by appointment)
  • Bring your ID and order confirmation (digital is fine)
  • We'll email you when your order is ready for pickup
